If you searched our name with the word "reddit" attached, you were doing the right thing. Checking a store before paying it is sensible, especially in a market with as many counterfeit stories as UAE fragrance. Here is a straight answer instead of a marketing one.

What we are

AlHimyan is a UAE-based online perfume retailer. We sell designer fragrances and Arabian houses, we ship across the UAE in 2-4 business days, and we accept cash on delivery.

Why we are cheaper than the mall

This is the question customers ask us most, usually phrased as "why are you selling cheap?" It is a fair question and the answer is unglamorous. There is no middleman between us and the source, and there is no mall rent built into the price. A boutique in a major Dubai mall is paying for that floor space with every bottle it sells. We are not, so the same sealed bottle costs less here.

Cheaper because of lower overheads is a very different thing from cheaper because of what is in the bottle.

What we do not claim

We are not an authorised distributor for the designer houses we stock, and we do not say we are. We are not going to tell you our stock is "100% guaranteed", because that is a phrase anyone can type and it proves nothing. What we can put behind our name are our own commitments:

Opened perfume cannot be returned. That is standard for personal care goods everywhere, and we would rather say it here than surprise you later.

How to test us with almost no risk

Order one bottle, cash on delivery, and inspect it at the door before you pay. That is the lowest-risk way to try any perfume store in the UAE, including this one. If it is not what was described, send it back within 7 days sealed.

On Reddit specifically

We will be straight about this too: there is very little discussion of us on Reddit yet. We are a smaller store than the names that dominate those threads. We would rather tell you that than manufacture reviews. If you buy from us and it goes well or badly, saying so publicly is genuinely useful to the next person.
