Returns & Refunds

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return, in every country we ship to.

The item must still be sealed

Perfume cannot be resold once it has been opened, so a return is only possible while the item is exactly as it left us. That means all of the following:

• The outer cellophane is still on and unbroken. Where a box has no cellophane, the manufacturer's seal or sticker is still closed.
• The bottle has never been sprayed, and the plastic collar or cap seal is in place.
• The batch code, barcode and any security sticker are intact — not scratched, covered or removed.
• Nothing is missing: bottle, cap, insert, and any gift box, pouch or sample that came with it.

If the box has been opened, the cellophane removed, or the perfume tried even once, the item is no longer returnable. This does not apply to a faulty, damaged or incorrect item — those are always covered, opened or not.

Testers

Testers are sold in tester packaging and do not come wrapped in retail cellophane. For a tester the condition is the same in substance: the bottle must be unsprayed with its cap seal unbroken, and the tester box complete.

Sets, bundles and gift boxes

A set is returned as a whole. If any part of a set or bundle is missing, opened or used, the set cannot be returned.

How to start a return

Email us at info@alhimyan.com with your order number and the reason, within 14 days of delivery. Please wait for our reply before sending anything back — items returned without an approved return request cannot be accepted.

Please never post perfume to us yourself. Fragrance is classified as a dangerous good and may only travel with a courier booked for that purpose. Use the collection we arrange, or the photo route below.

United Arab Emirates

We collect the item from your address at no charge and refund you in full.

GCC — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar

We book the return courier for you. The return shipping cost is deducted from your refund. Alternatively, you may choose AlHimyan store credit for the full value of the item and pay nothing towards the return.

Europe, United Kingdom, United States and other international destinations

You have the same 14 days to cancel your order for any reason.

Perfume is classified as a dangerous good for air transport and cannot lawfully be shipped by a private individual, so we do not ask you to send the item back. Instead, send us one photograph showing, in a single frame:

• the item with its seal and cellophane intact,
• the batch code on the box, and
• the shipping label carrying your order number.

Once we have reviewed it we refund you in full and the parcel stays with you. This route is for sealed, unopened items only.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is broken, leaking, faulty or not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and the outer box, and keep all the packaging until we have replied — we need both to make it right and to raise the claim with the courier.

This right applies for two years for orders placed in the European Union and six years for orders placed in the United Kingdom, in addition to the 14-day return window above.

Non-returnable items

• Opened or unsealed fragrance and beauty products, and anything that has been sprayed or used
• Sets or bundles that are incomplete
• Custom or personalised items
• Gift cards

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original and, once it is accepted, place a separate order for the new one.

Refunds

We will notify you once your return has been received and inspected, or once your photograph has been reviewed. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days, and within 14 days for orders placed in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

If you cancel the whole order under your 14-day right, we also refund the standard delivery charge you paid. If you keep part of the order, delivery is not refunded. Where a UAE order qualified for free delivery over AED 299 and a partial return brings it below AED 299, the AED 20 delivery charge is deducted; where a return breaks the condition of a promotion or multi-item discount, the discount is recalculated on what you keep.

Cash on Delivery refunds are issued as store credit to your AlHimyan Wallet.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, contact us at info@alhimyan.com.

Cancellations, refused and undelivered parcels

• Cancelled before dispatch (online prepaid): 2.5% deducted as a payment-processing fee
• Cancelled after dispatch: AED 25 deducted for courier fees
• COD orders: nothing has been paid, so nothing is refunded
• Couriers make up to three delivery attempts. If a parcel is refused, or cannot be delivered because the address or phone number given is wrong or unreachable, it is returned to us and the cost of that return leg is deducted from the refund.

Fair use

These terms are written for genuine returns. Where the return right is used repeatedly or in a way that is clearly not genuine, we may ask for the item to come back before refunding, or decline the request.
